Before You Start
Make sure you have everything ready:
- ✅ Velura Showerhead
- ✅ Hose
- ✅ Connector
- ✅ Plumber's tape (included in your package)
- ✅ A small towel for any drips
Step 1 — Turn Off the Water
Turn off your shower water before starting. This avoids any unexpected splashing while you work.
Step 2 — Remove Your Old Showerhead
Simply unscrew your old showerhead by hand. If it's tight, use a wrench. Have a towel ready — a little water may drip out.
Step 3 — Clean the Shower Arm
Wipe the threaded end of the shower arm clean. Remove any old tape, dirt, or buildup so your new connection sits perfectly.
Step 4 — Wrap the Plumber's Tape
Wrap the included plumber's tape around the threaded end of the shower arm. This keeps everything watertight and leak-free.
Step 5 — Attach the Connector
Screw the connector onto the shower arm by hand until it feels snug. Don't over-tighten — hand-tight is enough.
Step 6 — Connect the Hose
Attach one end of the hose to the connector. Hand-tighten only.
Step 7 — Attach the Showerhead
Connect the other end of the hose to your Velura showerhead. Hand-tighten until secure.
Step 8 — Turn the Water Back On
Slowly turn your water back on. Check all connections for any drips. If you see a leak, just tighten that connection a little more.
Step 9 — Adjust and Enjoy
Position your showerhead to your preferred angle, turn on the shower, and enjoy your first clean, filtered shower! 🚿
Quick Tips:
- 💧 Keep a towel nearby for any drips
- 🔧 Hand-tighten only — no tools needed
- 🔄 Still leaking? Add one more layer of plumber's tape
